Wolverhampton Remembers

Wolverhampton is marking the centenary of the end of the First World War with commemorations across the city.

These events will pay tribute to the 1.2 million British and Commonwealth personnel that lost their lives during the First World War (1914-18).

The commemorations in Wolverhampton will enable us to express our gratitude to those that served, died and were affected by war at home and abroad.

The City of Wolverhampton Council will be organising and supporting several events and initiatives to mark the 100th anniversary alongside our partners, such as the the Royal British Legion. Please explore this website to find out more about what is going on across Wolverhampton.

If you are organising your own event to commemorate the centenary since the end of the First World War, please contact us using the form on the contact us page and we can feature it on this site!
